Dr. Tamar Hoff-Nir

Tamar Hoff-Nir, DDS has been providing exceptional general and cosmetic dental care for over 25 years across Manhattan, Long Island, and Westchester County, NY.
Originally from Israel, Dr. Hoff-Nir grew up in Dobbs Ferry and has deep roots in the local community. She earned her BS in Biology from the University at Albany, her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and completed her residency at Columbia University School of Dentistry and The Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Hoff-Nir has completed extensive advanced training in implantology and holds a distinguished distinction among general dentists — she is fully qualified to both surgically place dental implants using guided surgical techniques and deliver the final prosthetic restoration. This comprehensive, integrated approach allows patients to receive the full continuum of implant care under one roof, eliminating the need for referrals to outside specialists.
Her areas of expertise include Invisalign and clear aligner therapy, dental implant surgery and restoration, cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry, root canal therapy, and sleep apnea and snoring therapy.
A proud member of the American Dental Association and the New York Dental Society, Dr. Hoff-Nir is committed to staying at the forefront of dental technology through ongoing continuing education — bringing the latest advances in technique and care to every patient.
As a lifelong Dobbs Ferry community member, she is deeply dedicated to the oral health and wellbeing of her patients throughout Westchester County.
Nina Beck RDH
Dentistry is woven into the very fabric of Nina’s identity. As the daughter of a distinguished general dentist, the doors of the dental world and the intricacies of patient care are almost second nature to her. Nina's pivotal role encompasses overseeing dental wellness visits as Dobbs Dental and Cosmetics head hygienist.
But Nina's dedication doesn't stop within these walls. She also volunteers for the Colgate’s Bright Smiles, Bright Future Program and the NYS Mission of Mercy’s Special Olympics Special Smiles. These noble ventures have enriched her expertise, particularly in caring for children with diverse needs. Away from the spotlights of dental care, Nina finds joy in the company of her cherished family, friends, and her adorable rescue companion, Gunda, the fur puppy.
